Hi everyone. Firstly I love my Macbook. No major issues of any sort really. But I do have one little quibble. There appears to be a high pitched drone/hissing sound that only becomes noticable when the room is silent. The sound comes from the corner of the unit close to the power connector. It is a constant hiss, and only breaks intermittently when the hard drive is accessed. This leads me to believe that it is the hard drive making the noise, though I'm not sure. I just wanted a second opinion. If it is the hard drive, do you reckon I should try pulling out the hard drive and putting it back in? I'm thinking of getting a new hard drive soon anyway (I only got the stock 60GB). Do you reckon that'll stop the sound? Or is it more likely some sort of connector which is actually part of the Macbook?
