quitting application, avoiding previously-used project?

Hi,

Whenver I'm done using iMovie, i close (apple-w) the project, and then i Quit the applicaton. Still, the next time I open iMovie, it opens the last project I was working on. How can I avoid this? I just want it to open to the basic screen.

What version of iMovie? iMovie HD 6 opens with a dialog asking for new/existing/magic.

it's HD6, but i want to get that dialogue right when i open the application. for me, when I open the program, first I'm presented with the last project i was working on (unless that project has since been deleted- then i get the screen i want!).

Sorry - didn't have any projects. Tried it with a project - same as you've seen. I've looked around and can't see any prefs. to do this. Even looked through the iMovie plist.
