Just came across this quiz titled. "Do you really know your iPhone?" Unlike other similar trivia which quiz you on history, this one is about iPhone usability. Fun stuff.

    Questions:

    1. How can you tell a 3G iPhone from 3GS without turning it on?
    2. Which setting you have to tweak to turn off all cellular data on your phone?
    3. What is the fastest way to find an App?
    ...

    Tell us your score!

BS test. Apparently I know too much.

I said I could tell a 3GS from a 3G because of the screen and it said that was wrong.

Well excuse ME for knowing what the oleographic coating looks like. :p

Amazing. Dude how do you tell oleographic coating? I always thought 3G and 3GS have the exact same screen. I would fail your test for sure:)

The 3GS screen is a little glossier looking.

Now, to be fair, it's so subtle that you can usually only tell if the 3G and the 3GS are side by side. I can tell the difference. But if you handed me one of them and asked me what it was I might not be able to say. It's not that obvious of a difference.

The printing on the back of the 3GS is a lot more noticeable.

Sorry if I offended you. Didn't mean any harm, was just trying to be funny

Its silver vs. white per the quiz. Did they not make 3G in white?

A few of them are just 'logical' answers. Got one wrong which is the first one though.

My 3Gs doesn't say that its a 3GS. It just says iPhone. Does yours say 3GS?

lol:) please dont tell me that the guy who sold me this phone CL was lying and its Chinese clone. I am pretty sure isn't supposed to say 3GS or 3G. Can someone please confirm?

    My phone isn't a clone. It isn't supposed to say 3GS ...

I got the password/phone call question wrong. I guess I don't pay attention because it becomes so routine. :p

Yes that's what I thought too. I am surprised at how few people notice that.

There is that but you can apparently also tell from the screen.

Isn't the answer to #1 wrong anyway? It's not the logo that is different it is the lettering...
