I have a Macbook air (2012) and suddenly the qwertyuio keys doesn't works... P is ok...
I read that other users had exactly the same issue. Any ideas? (desperate)

same here on my mba mid 2011: q, w, e, r, t, z, u, i and o (german layout) are stuck almost all the time, but p works just fine. i never spilled something on the keyboard because i used a moshi keyboard protector ever since. therefore, my keys look like on the first day actually. so i have no idea whats going on. curiously, if they get stuck and i keep repeatedly pressing one of them (just like normal typing) the key comes back to life.

I have the same problem. I replaced the logic board as I had a water spill. I discovered the qwertyuio keys were not functioning and the control key also. Assumed that keyboard was effected. Changed keyboard (grueling)same thing. Above keys not working. Tried every reset available and nothing. If I plug an external keyboard everything works fine. If I use the virtual keyboard on screen and use a mouse all keys work. This has to be an apple defect. I have read many posts on this. People with the same problem. Some were fortunate to work with reset of SMR and PRAM. Spent many hours researching this and no answer. Apple stock is at 173 a share. You would thiink they would help with this issue.
Thanks for listening.
