Can you install the "Radeon HD 2600 XT 512MB DDR3 PCI Express" Video Card in an x8 or x4 PCI express slot..? Does it have to be a x16 slot ???

Might try reading the specs and some of the other posts...this has been answered multiple times.
However: Apple sells a setup with 4x2600XT. There are 2 16x and 2 4x slots in a Mac pro. Ergo, it must work in 4x slots.
