Apps Radio apps question ?

is it possible to use Tunein app to listen to radio stations on wifi without Iphone ? or are there any other apps that let you listen to radio without phone ? wanted to bring just my apple watch to gym and connect to wifi

The built in Radio app on series 3 & 4 lets you listen to ESPN, Bloomberg, NPR, Beats1 & CBS radio for free. Not a huge selection but it's ok if you like any of those stations.

It could be, I’m not sure. Sounds probable if it isn’t showing up in the UK.

I may be wrong, but I think the Radio app might only be on the LTE models. I am pretty sure it is not regional.

I'm still waiting for a UK radio app to use on watch without an iPhone nearby. All the apps require your iPhone or Apple Music which only has a few USA stations. We were promised this in this new version of watchOS.

Watch can't replace a pocket DAB radio with wired earphones in 2019 🙁
