I just did the update to the full release version of iTunes 11.1 and I don't have the Radio button on my Library>Music folder. Is anyone else not seeing this? I can use iRadio on my phone but it is not showing up in iTunes.

If you select Music the radio button shows up at the top of the screen like in my capture.

Figured it out, it appears that "Radio" is a 10.7+ only feature. Awesome. :mad:

Per Apple iTunes 11.1 http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1614?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US:

"System Requirements
Mac OS X version 10.6.8 or later
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later
32-bit editions of Windows Vista or 32-bit editions of Windows 7, and Windows 8"

This does not single out iTunes Radio as requiring anything above 10.6.8 so I don't know why it's not showing up on my computer.

Solution for Radio no showing up in iTunes 11.1

You have to enable it from Preferences.
MenuBar >> iTunes >> Preferences >> Check 'Internet Radio'. It will enable the Radio on iTunes and you can access it from Music Tab.

Thank You

I have that already selected. The "Internet" button is still on my menu bar as it has always been that allows me to select internet radio streams but the new "Radio" button is missing even after I downloaded the update today. I am in the U.S. and I double checked my settings to make sure I was signed in using my Apple ID and that my country is listed as "United States" but still no "Radio" button. I signed out and back in with my Apple ID, quit and relaunched iTunes and still no luck. I sent iTunes Feedback already and am waiting for the iTunes Support page to load. Waiting. Waiting...

It's not working for me either, latest updates. I had 11.1 from beta and it did not update to today's version. I wonder if that's the problem.

----------

Actually, downloading and reinstalling iTunes from the apple main site fixed it.

It is in the "Read Me" file for the iTunes 11.1 official download:

"Software:
• OS X version 10.6.8 or later
• 400MB of available disk space
• iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability may vary by country
• iTunes Radio requires OS X version 10.7 or later."

I tried the reinstall with a download from Apple again and it still doesn't show for me. :(

I am using 10.6.8 and I don't see it either!

How could something like this go overlooked? Or did they do it on purpose to get us to upgrade?

I sent a note to Apple

So let's see...

If you run Snow Leopard (10.6.8), you can run
* Pandora
* Spotify
* Everything Else that streams audio

...except iTunes Radio (not including the iTunes Radio Stations, mind you - those stream music just fine).

I told Apple this is unacceptable. I'm waiting for Mavericks and then holding my nose to upgrade. Lion and Mountain Lion are stinkers, and I hate that I'm going to have to kill some legacy apps that need Rosetta.

OH WELL...

Unacceptable

I'm writing to Apple. F*(&$(#)K this. It ticks me off when they withhold features on perfectly useable OSs. If I wanted a turd sandwich for an OS I'd take a dump on a piece of bread and call it a day. Seriously, why do they do stupid stuff like this?

Im on 10.6.8, in the US, and can't use it either :mad:

"*iTunes Radio requires iOS 7 or later; OS X v10.7 or later; Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later; 32-bit edition of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8; or Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation)."

Yet Windows XP users from the stone age can use it just fine. Does :apple: want me to switch to Windows? Something I hate about apple, but not enough to switch, yet.
