I have 2 USB external disks I'm trying to setup in a RAID set.

I can't add one of them, and I suspect it may be because it's USB 1, rather than 2.

Does anyone know if there are any constraints on the version of USB?

Or has anyone had the issue - I can drag one disk into the RAID set, but when I drag the 2nd disk it just won't drop into the window.

I am going to swap the enclosures and see if the issue is reversed, and not physical disk related. I'll post back here my findings...

Figured it out...

It was due to the formatting - having the Mac OS X 9 Driver enabled when formatting was the issue, reformatted without that option and hey presto - all working.
