Been searching for an hour through a few dozen pages and can't find an answer, so here goes.

Just configured a RAID 5 in my MP. Battery was charged ahead of time. Went ahead and carbon copied my system back to the new array before it was initialized and now the initialization is taking forever. Do I need to start over or will it eventually (i.e., within the next 12 hours) finish up on its own?

Thanks!

Don't panic, initialization is SLOW. 😱 It usually takes hours, but I can't really guess, as I don't know how large the array is. The greater the capacity, the longer it takes. 😉 😛
