I am having issues with RAID0 drives disconnecting or not showing on boot on my Mac Mini Pro. I had it with a Beelink TB5 dock, and now with an OWC TB4 4-drive NVME enclosure. I have another one of those working perfectly on an M1 Ultra Studio.
I switched to using the OWC via a TB4 hub, also from OWC, and that seems to fix it. But I am wondering whether there is a hardware issue specific to my Mac.

An Acasis dual drive TB4 enclosure worked flawlessly, but drive temps on the OWC dock with its massive heat sinks are 32°C vs 55°C in the Acasis enclosure despite its fan. Given the high cost of SSDs these days, I want to preserve their lifespan.

Has anybody else run into RAID or external drive compatibility issues on the Mini Pro?

I've had two Thunderbolt SSDs arranged as RAID0 for the entirety of Tahoe, no issues.

I'm on the developer beta on the mini with this TB RAID0 pair.

I am trying it again, plugged in directly, and have not seen the random ejects. It might have been a fluke!
