Watch: Ultra 2, 10.0.2

Raise to Speak only works the first time. Once I put my hand down and bring it up again it won’t register my speaking to it.

If I toggle the function off, then on again, it will function on Raise but that will be it, unless I toggle it again.

Siri and Hey Siri work each time.

If I toggle the Siri part off the Raise to Speak still won’t work.

Anyone else seeing this?

On my Series 9 I can’t get it to work at all. I always need to start with “Siri”.

Brand new Ultra 2, upgraded to 10.3 during the setup, and I'm having the exact same problem:
Raise to Speak worked perfectly the first time I tried it after turning it on, then very rarely afterwards. It's not 0% but perhaps 1 time out of 20 (about 5%) for me.

My siri settings:
  • Listen for: Off
  • Raise to Speak: On
  • Press Digital Crown: On
Very frustrating!

My Ultra 2 movement functions work much worse than older watches. (S7 and S4)

That includes: raise to speak, hand washing and even the double tap are INSANELY unreliable.

All of those work maybe 50% of the time or even less. It makes me think there is something wrong with my watch.

The S7 and S4 work immediately on the raise to speak every time and register the hand washing seconds before the Ultra 2.

I rarely get the double tap feature to work on the first or even second attempt and often just don’t bother.
