I just recently purchased a used powerbook g4 to learn the mac ropes on. I upgraded the RAM on my pc myself and was wondering if installing the sticks on a mac were like doing so on a pc. Since I just got it I dont want to screw it up already. Also, is there a button you have to turn on for the wireless to work like on pc's? Or does it just connect automatically. I'm very new at all this mac stuff. Thanks!

To access Wifi, there is an icon with concentric circles on the upper right menu, to the left of the speaker pull down. Click on it and if it's on it should say Airport and list of network. Normally if turned on, you'll be asked whether you want to join any open networks.

Some older version of Powerbook has the wifi card as an option, so you might have to get one if it doesn't have one.
