I did not see this posted anywhere. Not looking forward to this if it is true.

I don't trust Chinese hardware. They have been known to have spyware. I am hoping the Mac Studio refresh happens in March so I can get my potentially last few Mac systems with everything going crazy.

I hope this works. We need more RAM manufacturers to ease the pressure silly AI is causing.

As for the spyware, can RAM have that? I thought this was a thing on other components, like CPU, motherboard, networking hardware, etc...

I don't trust Chinese hardware.

That presents an untenable occupation in being involved with tech these days.

Nothing to fear about AAPL forming new partnerships. It's not like the demand for big-NAND tech (and the need to balance cost with expenditure) is about to magically disappear....

What is it that eventually dissolved your trust?

You know very well what I meant.
Actually I don't. You see most things are made in China, or from components made in China.

Just to point out the obvious, both Micron SK Hynix have manufactoring plants in China, SK Hynix is largely in China I believe and Samsung has facilities in China connected to the creation of ram.

My tongue in cheek response was largely poking fun at the idea of avoiding that point of origin, when that is virtually impossible already.

A Chinese company producing a product is different than an American or other company where it is assembled in china. I don’t know why I need to explain the difference to you. It has already been shown that Chinese manufacturers included malware in products over the years.

No not really

I don’t know why I need to explain the difference to you.
You actually don't need to explain it it me, but you tried (and imo failed).

Chinese manufacturers included malware in products over the years.
And there's been a number of American products that shipped with malware - go figure
