If upgrading to 32g, is there any advantage/disadvantage to using 4 8g DIMM or 2 16g DIMM in this machine?

This is an answer I'd like to know. I bought mine with the base 8GB (screw Apple's overpriced RAM) and decided to buy 2 x 16GB from Crucial. I did that so I can run 40GB now and then have scope to upgrade to 64GB more economically in the future should I want to. I don't think there will be anything wrong with this as I understand they work in pairs.

I am planning to do this as well. Hope it works fine with this configuration. 🙂
