I am very fustrated! I just spent 20 min talking to a representitive @ Crucial RAM in a chat. He knew nothing and wasted my time.

I wish to purchase RAM, but not from Crucial. What other companies are there out there that sell very reliable RAM? Thanks!

Remember that if your iMac is an iSight model, it needs DDR2-533 DIMMs - it'll be the 1.9 GHz or the 2.1 GHz speed.

If it is a 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 GHz, then it is the model prior to the iSight, which uses DDR PC3200 RAM.

I agree with rdowns, if you are in the USA, DMS is very good

Thanks

Quality > Speed, my friend... 😉

Actually, I saw your post and just wanted to add some detail.
Next time I'll publicly defer to your blistering speed...🙂
