RAM for iMac G5 (new iMac owners' input greatly appreciated)

Now I don't know what to do. My 20" with 512 just came in and I was going to go to crucial and buy a second 512 for a 1gb total and to run at 128. Now I'm thinking I'll just buy a 1gb stick to get to 1.5gb total and not worry about running at 128.
