Hello guys, I got the late 2012 Mac Mini and want to upgrade the RAM. I searched for RAMs with kinda same specifications, but im not sure if this will work so i'm going to write the specifications down and please tell me fast if this works in my mac mini or not.
Specifications:
Number of memory modulesi: 2 x
Memory typei: DDR3-RAM
Storage capacity (RAM) per module: 8 GB
Memory chipi: DDR3-1600
Memory form factori: SODIMM 204
RAM bufferi: unbuffered
CAS latencyi: 9

Thanks in advance

sorry for bad english tho

I would add -
Module type: PC3-12800

Also, CAS Latency doesn't matter for compatibility. You'll find these memory dimms with anywhere between 9 and 11 cas latency. Any will work with the Mac Mini, and the difference is way too small to notice.

He already stated its ddr3-1600. Stating it is PC3-12800 is just redundant is it not?

It is redundant - but it sounds like OP doesn't know much about RAM, and sometimes it's listed for sale one way, and other times another way. If one doesn't know much about RAM, it's useful to know both ways.
