RAM Help for IMAC late 2009

Hi there,

I currently have 12GB ram in my imac and the stated maximum is 16gb. I don't really think it's worth upgrading by 4GB but I know some systems can take more than the recommended maximum. Does anyone know if this is the case for my IMAC late 2009?

From my reading, 32GB has been done by some people. Check out this thread and in specific this post.

Thats my post. lol Two years later, it still works great. Best upgrade I did to the iMac.
