i got the macbook w/ 1.83 ghz & 516mb ram

i want to upgrade my ram but is it necessary to upgrade to 2 ghz? or would 1 ghz do just fine? 516 seems to be a bit slow for me. i don't really use it for much other than music/movies/web/low-requirement games (ie: STARCRAFFFFT!!)

thx yo

Every MacBook I've ever used with 1GB of RAM has run basic applications like Safari, Mail, and the iWork suite just fine. Save the money unless you need the 2GB for more intense programs.
