Hi

I am about to upgrade my iMacs RAM for the first time and need some advice.

I need to know if this RAM here would be suitable for my machine (see link).

I have a iMac9 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Probably. But be careful what ram you buy for your Mac. I made the mistake of going "budget" last year and it wasn't pretty. Kernel panics, hangs, the works - on a brand new i7 MBP. Turned out to be the Ram. That was also kingston stuff.

Saying that Kingston is a known manufacturer and it apparently those sticks are for Apple. It will fit your machine, any good - depends, wait and see.

Otherwise buy from someone like Crucial, their ram is all guaranteed to work and with full warranty etc.
