Hello, I have an iMac '11 27" i5 which I ordered with the standard 4GB of RAM, but I added 2x4GB sticks of Samsung memory awhile back to get a grand total of 12GB. The ram works great for OSX but it's only allowing me to use 2GB of RAM in windows for whatever reason. It says "installed memory 12GB. usable memory 2.23GB" See screenshot below. How can I get windows 7 to use all my ram?

It's because you installed the 32 bit version of windows. You need to install the 64 bit to use all your ram. 32 bit only access up to 4gb of your memory. If you do some googling theres whole website explaining it. hg

Thanks. Not the news I was hoping for. So I have an Ultimate suck version.
