RAM problem in Windows BootCamp

When I go to system memory, only 1700MB or RAM is recognized? How do I recover that other 300MB??

Well... good idea, but I kind of doubt it. I have the new MacBook with the integrated nvidia graphics so no RAM will be needed for graphics. Besides, if it did, 300 MBs??!!

the 9400M still uses shared memory.

The Nvidia GeForce 9400M G is an integrated (onboard) graphics card for laptops without dedicated graphics memory.

Because of the shared memory (the memory is reserved from the main memory), the graphics adapter performs significantly better with DDR3 main memory than with DDR2 (up to 33% more performance).

and i guess they just round up 256mb to 300mb? don't really know what happens to 44mb, but it's probably not worth worrying about!
