When I go to system memory, only 1700MB or RAM is recognized? How do I recover that other 300MB??
256mb being used/dedicated to a video card maybe? it might be normal?
Well... good idea, but I kind of doubt it. I have the new MacBook with the integrated nvidia graphics so no RAM will be needed for graphics. Besides, if it did, 300 MBs??!!
according to this article - http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9400M-G.11949.0.html
the 9400M still uses shared memory.
and i guess they just round up 256mb to 300mb? don't really know what happens to 44mb, but it's probably not worth worrying about!
Thats for sure! Thanks for the help!
