    Hi all...

Here is the spec for my ibook:

    CPU Type: PowerPC 750 (22.15)
    Number Of CPUs: 1
    CPU Speed: 500 MHz

I am completley new to changing RAM and would appreciate any help you could give me in choosing the right one. What is the maximum RAM i can upgrade to and as im based in the UK where is a good non expensive place to buy from?

    Thanks again!!!

Crucial have a tool that will help you find the RAM you need...
They also sell at a decent price.

I'm only really here at night.
    You need PC100 SODIMMS, 3.3v, 144 pin, NON-ECC.

The max ram on these iBooks is 640mb. You say you have 256mb now, so you should get 1- 512mb stick to replace the 128 in there now, which will max it out.

Not sure where to get the stuff in the UK.......
