So I finally pulled the trigger on a brand new 2.3 GHZ 15" MBP! It's still in the 1-3 days waiting period, but should be here in 10 days or so. This will be my first time going to a mac from windows!!!
Naturally, all my mac buddies has been giving me advice the past few days. Based on their advice, I only order 4 gigs of ram and the basic hd since it sounds like I can always upgrade those myself.
I have been reading and hearing some horror stories about ram compatibility issues for macs. Been reading and researching on this forum for a while, but couldn't seem to find the answer. Could anyone provide me with brands and links where I can buy ram for my 15" MBP that won't run into compatibility issues?
