Ram Question

Greetings All,

I have 2x(512) gig sticks of ram from a 17in intel iMac (1.83).......could those be used in a 15.4in Macbook Pro (intel 2.0). If this is a stupid question, I apologize in advance.

Not a dumb question.

Yes, they're usable. The MBPs, MBs, and iMacs use the same RAM. Minis too, I think.

Thanks for all of the responses. I bought a Macbook Pro earlier tonight at Fry's in San Marcos, CA for 1432.99. There was a mistake in their flier and they had to honor it or at least that's what the Sales Clerk said. Anyway, thanks again.
