RAM question

    I just installed 4gb of ram in my unibody macbook and was wondering if somebody could have a look to see if everything is ok, cause I haven't got a notion what all this means!

    it says 4.0 GB right under the pie chart.. seems ok to me..

    I got that, but what does active and wired memory on the left mean

    it kind of says everything you need to see right there.

    click the apple logo on the top right of your menu bar.

    click about this mac..

    it will tell you what you need to know there, and you can go further by clicking more (which will open system profiler)



    your answer is nothing that can't be found at apple
