Resolved ram soldered, but dual channel?

Hi,
of course I read, that the ram on the new MBA is soldered.

But I couldn't find any information whether the ram is soldered in dual channel or single channel.
I hope it is in dual channel mode.

Yes, it's dual channel. It says so in System Preferences.

Sorry if this is a dumb question: why would single channel be a bad decision?

Because single channel would limit the performance of the intel cpu.
It is designed for dual channel use.
