RAM upgrade MBP different brand?

Hi sorry if this has already been asked recently (I just search for a while...)

Im buying a new MBP when Leopard is released and am planning to install 4Gb RAM. Do I need to get the same brand as Apple? Or can I just get 2Gb of the cheapest RAM I can find (and add to the existing 2Gb)?

Will it make a difference and will it be compatiable with the RAM already installed?

Or do I need to buy 4Gb RAM altogether from the same company?
