- Try to switch the modules out with the 2133 in the iMac and the 1333 in the MBP and see what you get. The iMac should only support 1333, but then the MBP should only support 1600, so who knows.Hey!
So, i run Geekbench 3 on my MBP and iMac. When i see results, fell shocked at all...
What be in a test: MacBook Pro 17' Late 2011 (Core i7-2860QM, 16Gb 2133Mhz RAM)
iMac 27' Mid 2011 (Core i7-2600, 16Gb 1333Mhz RAM)
Attached two pics with memory results. How we can see, its twice speed bump!
If needed, i saved full results of Geekbench test.
[EDIT: I just saw that you did that already. Never mind.]
I seriously don't get what's going on.
Just to add, here are my Geekbench memory results on 1600MHz (further specs in signature, full test attached). Comes fairly close to your 2133. Certainly closer to it than your iMac 1333 is to mine. You also have 0.3GHz CPU clock on me, which is also contributing to the score. I wonder how much is due to the RAM...
