Has anyone here used the RAM made by Crucial? I want to upgarde my MBP from 4 to 8GB and they have a 4x4 set up for $94. Seems pretty reasonable, but is it reliable and worth while?

Yep, crucial is good stuff. That's what I use in my computer and it works great

Crucial RAM is often recommended, but you only need two 4GB sticks (2x4) to get 8GB RAM.

Yep. I think this is the same set I ordered yesterday from JR through Amazon.

Thanks for the correction, that was a mis-type.

Thanks for the replies, just took advantage of the $80 deal on Amazon. Very excited.
