Ram upgrade

    Will be getting a januarty 2009 MacBook shortly with 2gb ram how easy is it to upgrade to the max of 4gb an where Would I get it from I think it will have 2 x 1gb in it. Do you no what type also sorry new to this

    I guess it will be DDR3 memory. You can go to crucial or kingston and buy ram directly from them. Alternativly go to your local PC components store and purchase some ram. I bought offical macbook ram for my 2008 macbook and when it came it was the same as the memory in my dell notebook except it had an apple stick on it. Same speed, manufacture and size.

    Will save you a few pounds.
