    hi there,

i just joined and this is my 1st post. i got a macbook around this time last year and iv been in love ever since, it has 2 gb of ram and 1.83 Ghz intel core 2 duo processor.

iv noticed that with the new macbooks the ram can go up to 4gb, while around the time i bought mine it could only go to 2gb, i was thinking that the older macbook, that i have, wasnt able to hold 4gb of ram, so i thought id ask here to make sure.

so if i put in 4gb of ram will it work fine??
sorry if its a silly question, just looking for clarification.

    thx in advance.

If you go to the Crucial website, us the memory advisor thing on the right, enter what model your mac is it'll come up with RAM for it and tell you how much your mac can handle!
