I bought 1 gigabyte of ram to put in my Powerbook G4. The problem isn't getting the ram in place. It's unscrewing the door. I was using normal force and the other 3 screws came just fine. the last one wouldn't come out. I was using the same amount of force too. It's the plus thingy stripped. (the right screw.) I used my camera on digital macro mode and took a picture. Is this something i should take into apple about. The irony here is my 3 year applecare plan expires in less than a month.

You have not gotten the RAM in yet, right? Or you did already and the screw stripped afterwards? You could try gently using a slightly larger screwdriver than you were using to try to take that last screw out.
