the RAM from OWC and Crucial is tested for Mac. more often than not,
RAM from other sources/brands creates problems on Macs.

Macs tend to be picky when it comes to RAM.

not saying the bestbuy RAM won't work, just that you can avoid any possible issues by going for OWC or Crucial modules.
