People always talk about which SSD (Crucial, Intel, Kingston etc) But what about RAM? Which truly is best? Also can the MBP make use of 1600 or should i stick with 1333?

You can go all the way upto 16gb...though I dont think the price would be worth it right now for the performance boost. Go for the 8gb plus a SSD to get some good boost.
