This is probably a duplicate, but where else besides Crucial can I get solid, non-crappy memory (for an iMac Core Duo)?

    OWC from macsales.com.

Unless you really do want a Ram, then I would try the nearest zoo. :p

OWC is really good RAM. That's what I put in my mini, macbook, and what I have now in my iMac. Works flawlessly. :apple:

Yeah, it auto-formatted my RAM with Ram. I tried to edit it, but to no avail.

So let's say I want 4GB... Crucial gets me a 2x2GB kit for $106. I am out of luck with Mushkin at the moment?

Furthermore, I have heard a lot of chatter about Mushkin of late. How does it stack up to Crucial? Whose chips does Apple use on their stock RAM?

    Thanks.

I used Mushkin in my PCs but i don't have experience of these modules. They have excellent service, every module is replaced without question. Good customer service.

Your original post said "core duo" -- which will only take 2GB.

2x2GB Mushkin 'PerfectMatch' is $65 from Newegg.

At $167 per GB, they're prolly imported from Jupiter...

    ...and shipped "overnight"

I meant Core 2 Duo. I am getting a 24" when they update. Sorry, I am retarded.
