Random apple iPhone buffering logo screen

Hi all I not long ago posted a feed regarding an apple buffering logo screen I thought it was my iPhone 6 and the battery was on the blink turns out I buy new iPhone 7 and sadly at random I will go to pick my phone up to find it is loading so buffering with the spin logo and will complete to give me back my home screen I only found this with the iOS 10 update is it a bug? Dose it do it for a reason it's not all the time.
