Wait, I don't understand. Why are you posting a google voice number. Is that number somehow connected to your iPhone 4? I just tried Facetime calling you and it just kept ringing.

Yeah, you just set the Google Voice # to call your cell #.

Right, but will that work for Facetime? I added him as a contact and pressed the "Facetime" button which initiates a direct Facetime call without the need to talk over cellular first... I'm not sure how that would work with Google Voice...

Well, since FT is not based on the voice call, it's based on IP connectivity, I don't see how it will matter.
 
i just got a call from an atlanta area code and all it said was to accept press 1

and i had no idea what i was accepting so i hung up.
 
it said Facetime Failed when you called me. i'm calling you back with a different 515 number now. maybe it's because the number i listed was google voice?


I just did another call via google voice and it worked so Im not sure what happened
