Random Folders

    I've noticed randomly my systemw ill create these folders inside of directories on my desktop. I can't figure out what the hell they're from.

    Ideas?

    OS X Lion 10.7.2

    I've had this issue since 10.6

    Have you looked inside? They may contain files with indications of where these directories all come from.

    I see in one file there is a reference to the above software called DeployStudio. It looks like a package that is used to remotely update OS X software. Have you installed such an app? You might read over the forums for the app about how to uninstall it.

    Ah that'd be it, I wonder why it creates random folders throughout my system.

    If you didn't install that app, I highly recommend you uninstall it. I wouldn't let anyone remotely access my Mac.

    The most effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:
