My dear mother dropped her MacBook (early Core Duo) hard on the floor, and now I've got to revive it. Only physical damage is that the hinge feels loose on the left side, however there is now no output on the screen other than random white lines on black. I think the backlight still lights. It appears to power on normally otherwise. Any idea what's broke? A cable, or logic board perhaps?
