Hi!

I'm using an intel mac with Mac OS X 10.5.8 and MS Word 12.2.1.

A while back MS started inserting page breaks randomly into my longer documents. This occurs when I'm writing notes using lots of different heading styles and dot points.

When I press backspace at the beginning of the line on the new page, it simply joins the end of the line on the previous page. When i press enter, it goes to the next page. It's very frustrating.

I tried looking up the problem on google but couldn't find a solution. I gathered it may have something to do with macros? But I don't know what they are so I'm not sure.

If anyone can help I'd be really grateful!

You mention that you are working with a lot of different styles/headings...do any of these call for page breaks before/after them?
