Just wondering, I'm gonna be getting a new MBP soon -

Is it gonna come with 10.4.8 installed? Or any earlier patch of Tiger that I'll need to update when I get it?

... this really has no consequence, but I'm just curious

My MBP came with 10.4.8 installed.

they are usually installed with the lastest version of tiger but it just depends on when your computer was actually made.

I'm not sure how long my new 20" iMac was sitting in the back room (bought it 2/16) but when I started it up it had to update to 10.4.8 (from 10.4.7). Didn't take very long, but i was quite surprised...
