macOS Random quicktime playback with applescript

i have been searching without any answers.

i have a concatenated video clip of 3 shorter clips into one quicktime file
i want to use applescript to to randomly play the 3 clips, and only for that clip's duration.

is there a way to do this with chapter markers?
or how would u even go about this?
is this possible?
