Has anyone experienced problems with random resprings into safe mode being caused by changing the original icons on their iphone? I was messing around with my icons today and at random times by phone would respring.

Just wondering if this was the culprit or if something else I have on my phone is causing this.

Right now I have:
-Winterboard
-SBSettings
-WeatherIcon
-Ifile
-Bytafont
-BiteSMS
-FiveIconDock

I had this issue when I installed a 3.x application on the 4.x device. I uninstalled the SBRotator for 3x and installed the version for 4x and solved my issue. with the 3.x installed it would boot into safe mode every time.

Resupported also messed my settings on 4.2.1 and when I uninstalled it everything was fine.

What FW and JB are you on?? Because I had an issue with WeatherIcon on 4.2.1 and the Greenpois0n jailbreak. It kept doing the random respiring into safe mode (like every 5 mins or so).

I tried a few things and narrowed it down to WeatherIcon and then played with it some more until I seemed to have fixed it. I was trying to place the weather icon on my dock and I had turned off the icon labels on docked items. When I moved the weather icon out of the dock it was fine. So I am not 100% sure if it was the fact that the label was turned off, or that it didn't like being in the dock but now that I have not had any more random resprings I'm just gonna leave it out of the dock all together for now.

I am currently on FW 03.10.01 and am using the Redsnow tethered jailbreak. From what I gathered with playing around with it a bit was that I was putting my weather in the dock and it was causing all sorts of problems. thanks for the tip Synergie!!
