Out of nowhere about three weeks ago, my mid 2012 macbook pro 13' started to go into these restart loops when I opened it from sleep, maybe 5-10 times it would continuously restart and then once I logged on, after anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes it would do it again. I took it to the apple store where a genius could not determine the problem and told me to wipe the drive and install a fresh yosemite. I Did that and still had problems.
Took it to the genius bar again. They did '40 hours of extensive diagnostic testing' and reassured me theres nothing wrong with my hardware and that their reinstallation of yosemite should've done the trick.
Not even 10 minutes after using it, it did it again (multiple times) where I also recorded two 3-minute videos of it's cycle.
Finally I figured it must be yosemite, so I downgraded to Mavericks. What do you know, it did it yet again about 4 times already this morning.
I never get any kernel panic logs and Console never gives me any clue whatsoever of what could be causing this.
I'm literally in stalemate guys. I feel like if I go to the apple store their really gonna give me no options.
Anyone got any ideas? There's gotta be someone on here smarter than the Genius'
