Have you heard the sound when the cursor is spinning and you try to click on something? I am hearing this sound occasionally when I am inactive at the Mac. Is there something wrong? Could there be a virus? What is going on?

randomly tangential I know- but has anybody heard the scrollbars click when you move them? I have a pair of in-ear headphones that when I'm wearing them, I can hear the scrollbars make a tick-tick-tick noise when I scroll anything.

I heard a loud, brief siren sound from my classic MBP once. I searched in the forums to see if anyone heard a similar siren sound, but found nothing.

Certainly more likely than the "dreaded newbie virus™"

    :D
