Before I get flamed, I have searched the forums here and at Apple support and cannot find my answer. GG Studios, the links you have in a couple of other posts related to waking, weren't helpful (one was a broken link and the other didn't answer my question).

I updated to 10.7.3 (via software update) a couple of days ago, and have noticed my iMac (2010, 2.7 i7, 12g) will now randomly wake after putting it to sleep using command alt eject. I do not have any NAS, or airport devices. I am attached to my home network via a LAN cable. I have the apple wireless keyboard and wireless mighty mouse. I also have a trackpad, but its turned off. I have checked the various settings I can think of, but everything appears to configured to prevent it from waking (i.e. wake for network access is unchecked, wifi is off) I do have it configured to allow bluetooth mouse/keyboard to wake my iMac.

I noticed yesterday when I woke, my iMac was on. Last night I put it to sleep, and noticed about 15 minutes later, it had woke. I got up, checked settings, and put it back to sleep. I noticed about 10 minutes later it had again woke. I turned it off until this morning. I have no clue whats going on.

    Thanks in advance.

    We have two 2008 iMacs.
    One sleeps very happily.
The other keeps waking up - I can't work out why.
Sorry I can't answer your question but does anyone know why this might be happening?
    Many thanks
