Yeah, I still have no idea what's going on. It just happened again when I was trying to select seats for a flight using Safari. It happens nearly 75% of the time if I try to full screen a flash video.
I'm trying to hold out as well until the new (rumored) MBPs come out. Still, I'd like to know what the hell is wrong with my current MBP so I can hopefully fix it. It's a great computer (when it works) and would hate to have to trash it.
Any possibilities it might be a software issue? If so, you can check the crash reporter log that is stored in: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter.
Let me know if you guys find anything interesting. Possibly with flash or something causing crashes.

Well for an update:
1) I installed Lion on the system and didnt have a crash since. But sold the mac.
2) I bought a new macbook airNo problems with that!
Hope you figure out your problem. Because I went into apple and there was no hardware failure with the computer. So he told me to install an clean copy of the OS. I did with Lion and didnt have a problem.
