This on an iPhone 14 Pro and a SoundCore 3 BT speaker.

Now and then, when playing Apple Music, the music simply stops. When I look at BlueTooth in System Settings it shows that the iPhone is connected to the SoundCore. But Apple Music does not show any BT sound device. I know it's not the SoundCore because I can quickly connect my Apple Watch (original Ultra) and play music from the watch through the SoundCore. When I do this the SoundCore instantly shows up as a BT device on the watch's BT settings.

The only way to get the iPhone to play music again is to

• Tell BT on the iPhone to forget the SoundCore
• Turn BT off on the iPhone
• Turn BT back on
(Note that if I omit the above two steps the SoundCore will never be detected as a BT device.)
• Make the SoundCore pairable
• Connect to the SoundCore

At that point the music starts up where it left off.

However, having to go through all this is a major PITA.

I have tried a few other things like just turning BT off and on. But nothing seems to work except the steps described above.

There must be a better way.
